Mile 77.3
I didn’t plan to stop at Julian. Since Kate and Lisa have an RV, I got a ride into town!
Julian was a typical touristy small town. It was super hiker friendly. Mom’s Pie gave us free pie, ice cream and coffee. Julian Market had everything hiker might need. Carmine’s Place provided free laundry for hikers. They even let the hikers sleep in their place after the restaurant was closed. Amazing!
We did our laundry at Carmine’s and enjoyed a wonderful lunch! Lisa, Kate and Tanya were really kind that they let me tag along to camp at William Heise County Park where I got to take a coin shower!
It was a very relaxing afternoon!
